Organic Kuzu is a prized thickening agent and time honoured in oriental folk remedies. Made from the root of the hardy wild Kuzu plant, it should not be confused with other thickening agents. Organic Kuzu adds a unique smooth texture to soups, noodle broths, sweet & savoury sauces, etc. Crush approx 1-2 teaspoons of Kuzu per cup of water. Dissolve thoroughly with cold water and add to your recipe, stirring and cooking slowly until the Kuzu becomes translucent.
